Warchief Gaming is excited to announce that we will be running the Warhammer 40,000 Narrative Event at SoCal Open 2020. You can join us October 24th and 25th for an epic weekend of narrative gaming in the 41st Millenium using the new Crusade system. Players will be split into factions and fight for control of a lone planet in an embattled system, taking control of individual sectors and weaving a story with their army as the weekend goes on!
In the coming months, we will be sharing details about the event’s story, factions, and overall rules structure and missions. Keep an eye on the Facebook group for SoCal Open or right here on our website for regular updates and how you can prepare for the event. We’ll also create a dedicated landing page for all relevant information (including the mission pack so you can easily reference it).
Regarding SoCal Open’s Covid-19 situation in California, we have alternate plans for an online Narrative Event if necessary. This online event would allow those playing at home or in safe locations to submit their scores (as well as stories about their games) to us, where we will tell your brave heroes’ stories in write-ups, as well as maintain a living map of the planet’s territories. We will be developing plans for this alongside the in-person event at SoCal Open so that we will be ready to go as soon as possible. If you are signed up for the event at SoCal Open 2020, you will be first in line to participate in the online event as well.
